The well-known Indian TV show Balika Vadhu star Sidharth Shukla has passed away on September 2 (today) after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest. He was 40.
Cooper Hospital, Mumbai, has confirmed his death. Hospital sources said Sidharth Shukla took some medicine before sleeping and didn’t wake up.
Later, the hospital officials confirmed that he passed away due to a massive heart attack. The postmortem is underway and the body will be released soon.
“He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago,” the senior Cooper Hospital official said.
Sidharth Shukla garnered immense recognition from Balika Vadhu in which he was paired opposite Pratyusha Banerjee.
Notably, his co-actor had committed suicide on1 April 1, 2016. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence
Following the untimely demise of Shukla, the fans are mourning the fact that both the versatile actors of the popular TV show are no more.
Banerjee’s sudden death was a huge shock for friends, family and fans. After her suicide, several people blamed the actress’ beau Rahul Raj Singh for her death.
A case was also filed against him, however, three months later, Rahul was given anticipatory bail by the Bombay High Court.
Later, passing the blame on Pratyusha’s parents, Raj Singh, in his application mentioned that her parents had taken heavy loans in her name and she committed suicide after being unable to pay them.
Moreover, in July this year, another Balika Vadhu star Surekha Sikri had died aged 75 after suffering from cardiac arrest. She had been keeping unwell for quite some time.
However, soon after the shocking news broke out, fellow celebrities, netizens and fans were left heartbroken after Shukla’s untimely demise.
A number of celebs, as well as his fans, flooded Twitter with sincere condolences to mourn the devastating loss.
Sidharth Shukla began his career as a model and made his acting debut in the Indian TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na.
Born on December 12, 1980, he was widely known for his role in the long-running television show Balika Vadhu.
Apart from his television appearances, Sidharth Shukla made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where he had a supporting role.
His last screen outing was Ekta Kapoor’s popular show ‘Broken But Beautiful 3‘ in which he played the role of Agastya.
The versatile actor was also linked with his Bigg Boss season 13 co-contestant Shehnaaz Gill. The couple has created many romantic moments together and left their fans to gush over their chemistry.
They both shared a great bond and also did a few singles together. They featured together in Neha and Tony Kakkar’s Shona Shona and Darshan Rawal and Neha Kakkar’s Bhula Dena and Dil Ko Karaar Aaya.
Note that Shukla is survived by his mother and two sisters.
