On Wednesday, Anusha Dandekar posted an open letter for her sister Shibani Dandekar and her brother-in-law Farhan Akhtar in honor of their first wedding anniversary. She revealed a photo from their wedding celebration and said Shibani had fallen in love with her initially. By chance, Anusha and Farhan both turn nine on January 9.
Anusha posted the image on Instagram and stated, “Happy Anniversary to these two, with whom I am always riding third. But keep in mind, Shibani, that I was your first genuine love before you decided to wed a man who was born on the same day as me! You obviously adore me the most, then. But it’s okay; for now alone, you two can enjoy your love as if it were your first.”
Shibani Dandekar posted a photo of Farhan giving her a tight hug on Instagram on Tuesday along with the caption, “Been 5 and 1 in my happiest spot @faroutakhtar (ring and heart emoji) Love you (infinity sign).” Farhan responded to the post by posting an infinity symbol and a heart.
With two photos from their wedding celebration, Farhan commented, “Happy 365 @shibaniakhtar.. here’s to (infinity sign)” earlier this week. The two photos show them kissing and smiling.

Shibani just typed “Foo” in the comments box along with the heart and heart eyes emojis. “Happy Happy darlings,” his stepmother Shabana Azmi wished him and Shibani. Zoya Akhtar, Dia Mirza, and Amrita Arora all left heart-emoji comments on his post. Abhishek Bachchan sent them a hug emoji on social media.
Last year, Shibani and Farhan were married in court. At Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar’s Khandala farmhouse Sukoon, they held a Sangeet night and a little gathering to commemorate the occasion.
Shibani wore a red and beige gown with a crimson veil to the wedding celebration, while Farhan wore a blue suit. Their close friends and family members, such as Ashutosh Gowariker, Shankar Mahadevan, and Hrithik Roshan and his family, attended. In addition to Shankar Mahadevan singing Dil Chahta Hai, Javed Akhtar had read a poem for the pair.
