Foldable smartphones have developed to the point where they can serve as your primary phone for the next few years.
An apparent wrinkle on the interior screen, flimsier parts, and even a lack of IP certification hampered the previous iterations, which were far from ideal.
But today, things have changed. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 and the recently released Galaxy Z Fold4 are two of the greatest folding smartphones available today. It makes perfect sense to compare the two models because the two businesses released their models roughly simultaneously.

Design
Inward folding is a feature of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. This indicates that there are two displays on each phone. A second external display is available for usage while the first one is folded, which is a sizable tablet-like display that folds inward.
We can easily compare the two foldable in terms of design thanks to their shared design philosophy.
Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold4 has a more curved and rounder appearance. The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, on the other hand, employs a boxier design profile, comparable to the designs of the Galaxy Note series that we have previously seen. While the Samsung models add fancier Burgundy and Gray-green color options, both phones look premium and polished for their prices, with the Xiaomi foldable coming in the traditional black and gold colors.
The way camera module style differs greatly from one another. The three cameras for the Galaxy foldable are housed in a vertical camera module, whereas the three cameras for the Xiaomi foldable are located on a rectangular camera module. This makes the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 appear more balanced than the Galaxy version.
The Xiaomi model has an advantage in terms of size since it is only 5.4mm thick while in tablet mode (vs 6.3mm on the Galaxy Fold 4). At 11.2mm, it is significantly thinner than the Galaxy model even when folded (vs 14mm).
Due to its larger front and back displays, the Xiaomi device is noticeably bigger than the Samsung one. It is unfortunate that it does not support a stylus, unlike the Samsung model.
In this category, there is no clear victor because both are on paper well-built foldables.
