Princess Charlotte imitates the Queen In her Easter appearance

Princess Charlotte appears to be following in the footsteps of her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth… well at least that’s what royal admirers tend to believe!

Charlotte, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter, was photographed attending the annual Easter Sunday service at Windsor in a powder blue gown with a navy cardigan, matching her mother.

Netizens went to social media shortly after the event’s photos were revealed to comment on how much Charlotte resembled her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

People claimed to discern striking parallels between Charlotte and the monarch in a photograph of the princess with her hands folded behind her back, which received a lot of attention.

One royal fan wrote on Twitter, “Princess Charlotte giving major Queen Elizabeth vibes. There is a real confidence about her already. #Easter,”

Another said, “I think Princess Charlotte is walking like her great-grandmother, The Queen!”

Charlotte has been compared to her great-grandmother before; when the Cambridge family’s Christmas card images were released in December 2021, people said the same thing about Charlotte.

Charlotte’s beauty don’t appear to be the only thing she borrows from the Queen… She is also supposed to like horseback riding, which is a well-known Queen’s pastime.

Why did the Queen skip the royal Easter service?

Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth did not attend the usual royal Easter service at St. George’s Chapel this year due to health concerns.

Prince William and Kate attended the traditional Easter Mattins ceremony in Windsor Castle near London on Sunday (April 17), along with other members of the royal family.

The king, who will turn 96 this month, has been experiencing mobility issues and did not attend the traditional Royal Maundy service on Thursday (April 14).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, arrived at the chapel.

The service was attended by Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, and their children, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. (Reuters).
