After surviving a heart attack earlier this month, actress Sushmita Sen made her first public appearance at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai. She was spotted leaving the venue with Rohman Shawl by her side. Sushmita and Rohman, who purportedly ended their romance, are still friends.
A posted a video of Sushmita at the event, walking while surrounded by reporters and fans in a yellow lehenga. Rohman in a white blazer was standing next to her. He accompanied her on her walk and afterwards as they left the venue.
Sushmita also posed for fans and took photos with them before leaving.
Also, she briefly spoke with photographers. She was remarked upon by one of the photographers as being “extremely strong” (Aap bohot strong ho). With a smile, Sushmita said, “Mere paas bohot saare logon ki dua hai, so blessed (I have many people’s blessings with me).”

Sushmita appeared for designer Anushree Reddy wearing the same yellow outfit. Later, when she was driving home, she hosted a live session while talking about her experience. “I just wrapped up walking for the amazing Anushree Reddy as her showstopper at the Lakme Fashion Week,” she exclaimed. Thank you to all the compassionate and loving media personnel. I keep stating that I am an extremely blessed girl.
“Thanks to Anushree, who had the guts to ask me to come and walk and be her showstopper, I am truly feeling so delighted. It’s not a good moment right now, I believe the majority of people would have said. I warn you, ladies. When we support one another and shine a light on he best even in the most trying times. That’s beautiful,” she added.

Two days after Sushmita’s heart attack, on March 2, she announced it. An angioplasty was performed on her, and a stent was inserted. I had a heart attack a few days ago,” she wrote on Instagram. Stent in place following angioplasty… more crucially, my cardiologist confirmed that I do indeed have a big heart’.”
