The tallies of the top three candidates are listed below – Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
A candidate must receive the most votes and 25% of the ballots cast in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states to be declared the winner.
Otherwise, a run-off election, a first in Nigerian history, will be held within 21 days.
