Mahira Khan Now Finds Pawri Trend ‘Annoying’, Shares Meme As A Hint

The ‘Pawri’ trend fever, for some, is a center of attraction and quite playful, whereas on the other hand, it has become quite frustrating for many netizens and even celebrities.

Seems like actress Mahira Khan has similar frustration as she hinted of being ‘annoying’ via her Instagram story. She shared a viral meme based on DC Comics characters Batman and Robin, showing batman ‘slapping’ Robin on his face.

Similarly, the meme referred to those mumming the viral ‘Pawri Horai Hai’ lines and the other person slapping them.

The meme also has lines written on it. As Robin saying ‘Ye Mein Hoon’ (This is Me) and Batman slapping him saying ‘Chup’ (Shut Your Mouth) to stop him at once.

It is pertinent to mention here that Instagram influencer Dananeer Mobeen had become an overnight social media sensation after her #PawriHoraiHai video went viral all over the world.

The girl in the video said it’s me, it’s my car and, they are my friends and they are doing a party. The girl’s speaking style, fake English accent, and the tone was such that the video was funny to the users while it went viral in a few hours.

Many people have so far recreated the video with their friends by copying the video and adopted the accent like her.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz mimicked the trending “pawri” video while addressing a gathering in Daska on Sunday.

Maryam Nawaz said,

“Yeh Dhund Hay, Yeh Daska Hay, Aur Imran Khan Awam Ka Vote Chori Kartay Huay Range Haathon Pakra Gaya Hay.” [This is fog, this is Daska, and Imran Khan has been caught red-handed while stealing votes]

Maryam Nawaz while criticizing Imran Khan said that his incumbent government planned to rig but it ‘miserably failed’ in the by-elections.

Maryam Nawaz said that through Daska Polls, the PTI government had revealed itself how they were imposed on the masses back in 2018.

Clashes At Polling Stations:

In Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by-elections were held in four constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies. However, tensions and firing in Sialkot left two dead and seven others injured.

Gunmen opened fire at the Goindke polling station in Daska, area of ​​Sialkot, killing two activists belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

A heavy contingent of police was deployed in the area, while eyewitnesses said there was an open display of weapons in the area and no rule of law was seen anywhere.

Ruling party PTI and PML-N have blamed each other for firing in the NA-75 Sialkot by-election.

The video has received immense appreciation from across the border too. Earlier, India’s cricket team captain Virat Kohli had jumped on the bandwagon as well. He posted his advertisement for a shoe brand on Twitter and enacted the viral meme.

On the other hand, Yashraj Mukhate, who is popular for turning viral videos into upbeat, funny songs, had turned #PawriHoriHai into a catchy number. The viral trend has helped Yashraj to grow more as according to the composer, Pawri Horai Hai is his most successful yet.

In a recent interview, Mukhate revealed that the video is perhaps his more successful yet and has gained an immense appreciation.

“I put it out, and it has been breaking my personal YouTube records. It’s my fastest two million views’ video,” he shared.

“I’m getting an amazing response. Through my last two-three videos which were dialogue mashups, I got to know that people are not interested in serious music. So, I really wanted this mashup to blow up like my other videos,” said the composer.
