Acclaimed showbiz actress Mahira Khan, who had briefed about the sloganMera Jism Meri Marzi‘ now finds herself under fire as the netizens begin to criticize her.

Mahira Khan never stays back or feels shy to express her opinions when it comes to supporting something right. But, this time she has triggered the backlash after she cleared her stance on this slogan.

Mera Jism Meri Marzi had already brought in countless debates in Pakistan and was proved to be a simple shut-up call to all misogynistic men.

Mahira Khan had explained the slogan during an interview.

The Raees actress had also revealed that why she attends the Aurat March every year.

“I think it is necessary for me [to go to Aurat March] because I think when I do something, no matter how small it is, it leaves an impact,” said the actor.

“So when I go to Aurat March, what I’m actually trying to say is ‘Look, if you like me and if you think what I say means something if you think I that I’m on the right side of history, or whatever you think of me, this is also what I believe in, this is why I’m here.'”

“Honestly, mere Aurat March jaane se itna ziada kuch nae hota siwaye iske ke it creates an impact,” added Mahira.

But, her explanation of the slogan sparked a stir as it hit social media users’ nerve.

The line elaborated by the actress explained, “no means no and no one can dare to put a wrong eye on women if she doesn’t want”.

Netizens stepped forth to share their views that Mahira is saying this all who herself is an actress and belongs to the world of entertainment.

Mahira Khan Now Finds Pawri Trend ‘Annoying’, Shares Meme As A Hint

The ‘Pawri’ trend fever, for some, is a center of attraction and quite playful, whereas on the other hand, it has become quite frustrating for many netizens and even celebrities.

Seems like actress Mahira Khan has similar frustration as she hinted of being ‘annoying’ via her Instagram story. She shared a viral meme based on DC Comics characters Batman and Robin, showing batman ‘slapping’ Robin on his face.

Similarly, the meme referred to those mumming the viral ‘Pawri Horai Hai’ lines and the other person slapping them.

The girl in the video said it’s me, it’s my car and, they are my friends and they are doing a party. The girl’s speaking style, fake English accent, and the tone was such that the video was funny to the users while it went viral in a few hours.

Furthermore, the popularity of the video reached cross-border earlier when popular Indian music producer and content creator Yashraj Mukhate mixed his musical touch to it. His music video became a massive hit.
