  • He was struggling to hold and flip the newspaper.
  • The moment was captured on camera and now the video is viral.

A Parkinson’s-afflicted elderly man received assistance from a stranger. He was having trouble holding and turning the newspaper. On the London Underground, an older guy with Parkinson’s disease was having trouble holding his newspaper and reading it. A fellow traveller who saw the elderly man struggling offered assistance. On social media, the incident’s video has become very popular. Since Goodnews Correspondent posted it on Twitter, the video has received over 73k views.

You can see an elderly man struggling to cling onto his newspaper in the video. A man seated across from him in the same compartment assisted him in turning the page. The elderly man’s hands are trembling, as you can see. It appears that someone who was riding the same train captured the video. The video was shot in London.

(London): This man with Parkinson’s disease couldn’t hold his newspaper so a stranger held it still for him so he could read it,” the video caption reads.

The heartwarming video was loved by one and all. Everybody appreciated this man’s thoughtful gesture. “This proves that the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference in someone’s life. I read a comment about giving permission to be filmed and although I agree 100 percent, I believe this type of message can teach us something and hopefully learn to do more,” a user wrote.

“I have Parkinson’s. It’s a tough road sometimes. Often you attract unkind remarks as the symptoms can make you look drunk or on drugs. So this is rather splendid to see,” another tweet reads.
