Prime Minister Imran Khan To Address A Rally In AJK Today

Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a one-day visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) today (Saturday).

During his visit, Prime Minister Imran Khan Bagh will address a rally in AJK. “The enthusiasm of the people in Kashmir for PTI is commendable. Kashmiris are fed up with PML-N and PPP,” said PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan in his tweet.

On the other hand, while in Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan has termed Pakistan’s relationship with Uzbekistan as an exciting beginning of a journey of cooperation, bringing the two nations closer.

He said this is an exciting beginning and will lead people-to-people and trade and political relationships to grow stronger.

The Prime Minister said the upcoming rail project among Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan would connect the people of the areas and boost development.

Imran Khan and his delegation also visited the mausoleum of Hazrat Bahauddin Naqshband and offered fateha.

On the other hand, the premier disregarded Indian media saying the Indian RSS ideology was the main difficulty in normalization of relations with Pakistan.

The Prime Minister who was in Tashkent to contribute to a conference on ‘Central and South Asia Regional Connectivity, challenges and opportunities’ answered the question by an Indian journalist who pursued Pakistan’s stance on talks with India.

“We have been trying to tell India … that we have been waiting … for a long time, let’s live like civilized neighbours, but what to do, as the RSS ideology has come in the way,” stated the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Imran Khan was departing from the Congress Hall after attending the conference when an Indian journalist asked that India wants to know whether talks and fright go together.

The Prime Minister has very unblemished views about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its fanatical policies.

Sheikh Rasheed, Uzbek Envoy Discuss Ways To Enhance trade relations

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has on Monday held a one-on-one meeting with Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Aybek Arif Usmanov.

During the meeting, Sheikh Rasheed and the Uzbek envoy exchanged views over the need for enhanced trade relations between the two countries through regional connectivity.

Both the leaders also discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties among Pakistan-Uzbekistan and exchange views on matters related to mutual interest.

Relations between the two countries, which are linked to Islamic relations, need to be further strengthened, added the Interior Minister.

Rasheed further added that Pakistan has provided special visa facilities for Uzbek citizens. “Uzbek citizens will now be issued a 5-day transit visa to enter Pakistan, said the interior minister.

The Uzbek Ambassador said that the facility of air travel will boost tourism and business between the two countries.

“The implementation of the visa facilitation agreement will further enhance the relationship,” added Aybek Arif Usmanov.
