Pakistan Navy provides assistance to fishermen in Balochistan

Pakistan Navy has on Thursday rushed to rescue stranded boats in Balochistan’s coastal city of Ormara and provided assistance to all fishermen.

According to a statement by Pakistan Navy, due to heavy raining and blowing winds, many fishing boats anchored near Ormara fisheries swayed, tipped over and sank, while others ran aground near the beach.

Upon a request by Oramra’s district administration, the Navy dispatched a team of 35 marines along with marine fast boats to carry out the rescue operation.

However, the rescue team reached the scene of the incident and recovered the boats. No loss of lives or injuries were reported.

Earlier, the Pakistan Navy in continuation to its efforts to uplift health standards prominently under the ongoing virus situation, had established Free Medical and Eye Camp at Keti Bandar, Sindh.

According to the details, Pakistan Navy as a manifestation of its commitment, provide continued quality medical treatment. The present medical assistance drive is another demonstration of this Nobel resolve.

A tweet read: “Pakistan Navy in collaboration with welfare organizations established Free Medical and Eye Camp at Keti Bandar, Sindh. Patients were provided free medicines, minor surgical and dental treatments.”

Moreover, a team of qualified doctors comprising Eye Specialist, Medical Specialist and GDMOs had examined the patients on modern diagnostic equipment and extended free consultation.
