A cook book author has revealed how to produce chewable coffee cubes that are great to snack on and perfect to pack for work or the gym.

Bethany Ugarte from California, uses only four ingredients to produce the caffeinated cubes that are a great substitute to a regular coffee.

Bethany started by putting two cups of hot coffee into a blender to make the chewable mocha-flavored cubes.

She then poured the liquid into square silicone moulds and refrigerated them for a few hours until they were ready to pop out and eat.

‘Try not to drink the liquid because it is actually delicious,’ Bethany said in her recipe video.

In a blender, Bethany combined two cups of hot coffee, one heaping tablespoon of ghee, two tablespoons of gelatine, and high-quality chocolate, then poured the mixture into a tray to harden.

‘Just pop a few for a little midday pick-me-up, they’re delicious,’ she wrote.

Her TikTok video of bite sized mocha jelly earned 16,500 views and multiple comments from coffee fans eager to make the cubes themselves.
