KARACHI: At least two real brothers were killed and two were injured in a firing incident in the Jamshed Quarter area of Karachi on Thursday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Jamshed Quarter Aleena Rajpar said the incident appears to be a case of target killing in which six suspects on three motorcycles targeted the car. She said Sajid Aurangzeb and Omair Aurangzeb were seriously injured, the injured were immediately shifted to the hospital, but both brothers could not survive.
Aleena Rajpar said that five brothers were riding in the car, out of which two brothers were seriously injured and one escaped unhurt. The incident was a result of enmity, 18 shells of 9 mm pistols were found at the scene while almost as many bullet marks were found on the car.
The police said the deceased were residents of Lasbela Chowk who were going to the city court for the hearing. The deceased had been enmity with one of the other parties since the murder.
The brother of the deceased is allegedly involved in the murder of the other party.
