PESHAWAR: The key leader of the outlawed Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Abdul Mannan alias Hakeemullah was killed in Kunar region of Afghanistan.
According to the sources, a member of the outlawed TTP Malakand Shura Abdul Mannan alias Hakeemullah was killed in Asadabad district of Afghanistan. The Abdul Mannan was shot dead by unknown persons.
The dead terrorist Abdul Mannan was involved in target killing, landmine blasts in Bajaur, apart from this, the dead terrorist was also involved in other activities including firing at check posts and extortion.
The sources said the terrorist Abdul Mannan was the right hand of TTP leader Azmatullah Mehsud, Abdul Manan played a key role in planning the terrorist activities in Bajaur.
The terrorist Abdul Mannan had joined the TTP in 2007 and took part in several actions against security forces and innocent civilians. The terrorist Abdul Mannan’s brother Tariq alias Asad is also related to the outlawed TTP.
