  • Resham further accused KRQ of plagiarizing Bollywood films.

Pakistani actor Resham recently spoke candidly about her long-standing grievances with renowned screenwriter Khalilur Rehman Qamar.

During a candid interview, she expressed disappointment over what she sees as a decline in his writing quality and criticized his behavior towards her.

“People used to be proud of his dialogues. And now today, the dialogues he writes are coming back to haunt him. It is as if he has forgotten how to write,” Resham lamented, adding that his past reputation has faded due to a lack of originality. “Watch how Allah takes things away from people! He had many fans, and I used to be one of them. I am not anymore.”

Resham further accused KRQ of plagiarizing Bollywood films. “When I saw him recently, all I could see is that he copies films from India. No one remembers any of the dialogues from his works anymore,” she claimed.

Recalling an unpleasant encounter at an industry gathering hosted by Humayun Saeed, Resham described KRQ’s rude behavior. “I said salam to him, and he just shouted at me and said, ‘Don’t say salam to me! Stay away!'” she revealed.

While KRQ remains a significant figure in Pakistani entertainment, his controversial reputation continues to grow. With Resham’s latest remarks, their professional and personal discord appears irreparable.

Nine Suspects Jailed in Khalilur Rehman Qamar ‘Honey Trap’ Case

Khalilur Rehman Qamar
  • New developments occurred in the case of Khalilur Rehman Qamar.
  • Judge Khalid Arshad has remanded nine suspects to jail.
  • Qamar was allegedly abducted and robbed in Lahore.

In a significant development, Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Khalid Arshad has sent nine suspects to jail on judicial remand in the case involving prominent Pakistani scriptwriter Khalilur Rehman Qamar. During the court proceedings, the investigating officer confirmed that no additional physical remand was necessary.

The case dates back to July 15, 2024, when Qamar was allegedly abducted and robbed in Lahore. He reported the crime to the police on July 21 after being released following a ransom payment. Qamar had been invited to Amna Arooj’s home under the guise of discussing a drama project but claims he was abducted by armed men.

Amna Arooj’s lawyer contends that Qamar’s manager first reached out to Amna for professional reasons, which later turned personal. Qamar is accused of making inappropriate demands and threatening to release compromising photos if she refused. The situation escalated when Hasan Shah, alleged to be the mastermind, reportedly kidnapped both Qamar and Arooj.

Amna Arooj has since accused the police of torturing her and forcing her to falsely claim the incident was a honey trap. The case is ongoing, with new developments anticipated.

Khalilur Rehman Qamar
  • A scandalous video featuring Khalilur Rehman Qamar emerged online.
  • The video is split into two segments.
  • These objectionable clips quickly spread across social media.

A scandalous video featuring Pakistani drama writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar and an unknown woman has emerged online, just days after he was reportedly honey-trapped by a woman and her accomplices. The video is split into two segments: one shows Qamar sitting in a room with a girl, smoking a cigarette, while the other contains explicit footage of him naked in the same room with the woman.

These objectionable clips and photos have quickly spread across social media, though their authenticity is still in question. Earlier, police arrested Hassan Shah, the alleged mastermind behind the honey trap, along with his accomplice Rafiq in Peshawar.

Hassan Shah is reportedly the ringleader of a 12-member gang involved in honey trapping, which includes women. According to police statements, Shah claimed that Qamar visited the woman’s house with inappropriate intentions, not for scriptwriting as initially suggested.

In response, Qamar has asserted that he was kidnapped because of the compromising videos. The police investigation is ongoing, and all 12 gang members, including the woman involved, have been taken into custody.

  • Qamar was hesitant to report the crime.

Pakistani drama writer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar recently opened up about a harrowing experience where he was kidnapped, tortured, and robbed in the provincial capital.

In a podcast, the “Mere Paas Tum Ho” writer recounted the terrifying incident, revealing that his kidnappers mentioned the names of well-known actors Nauman Ijaz and Saba Qamar during the ordeal. Initially, Qamar was hesitant to report the crime because of these name-drops. Despite having personal differences with Nauman and Saba, he respected their acting skills and believed the kidnappers used their names to intimidate him.

Qamar expressed surprise and gratitude for the support he received from Indian fans, contrasting it with the criticism and mockery he encountered in his own country. This support was a silver lining in an otherwise dark experience.

After this traumatic event, Qamar shared that his wife is considering leaving Pakistan, although he remains deeply connected to his homeland and has no plans to move abroad.

Here is what he revealed:

Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar reportedly had to pay a significant ransom to secure his release. Following his statement, a case was registered at a Lahore police station. The FIR detailed how the kidnappers tortured Qamar, moved him to multiple locations and threatened his life while demanding money from his family. It was also noted that they blindfolded him and abandoned him in a remote area before fleeing.

Khalilur Rehman Qamar reveals how he ‘punished’ Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan

Despite the fact that the drama and cinema industries in Pakistan owe Khalilur Rehman Qamar a great debt for his legendary works, the renowned director has frequently come under fire for his outspoken, blatant, furious, and appropriate views.

Due to some hurtful comments, Qamar made regarding Mahira Khan’s acting abilities, the author of Mere Paas Tum Ho got into a nasty argument with the leading actress. Although the conflict between the director and actress has now subsided, Qamar elaborated on it in a recent interview.

The author of Mera Naam Yousuf Hai seems to have altered his mind during a podcast with renowned Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali, particularly when it came to forgiving Khan. However, the author of Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai admitted that he still had issues with the Humsafar diva.

Qamar stated, “I will forgive Khan eventually for working on a project based on my life. I have nothing but respect for her, yet she committed a mistake during the infamous Marvi Sarmad incident. Khan tweeted in Sarmad’s favor and openly opposed my views. Khan, consequently, lost Mere Paas Tum Ho and London Nahi Jaunga as a punishment, otherwise, she was my first choice for either venture. If not Mere Paas Tum Ho, I would have cast Khan in London Nahi Jaunga.”

Regarding her professional endeavors, Khan most recently appeared in The Legend of Maula Jatt, for which she received both national and international acclaim.

On the other side, Qamar lately contributed to such films as Meray Paas Tum Ho, Kaaf Kangana, Tau Dil Ka Kia Hua, and London Nahi Jaunga.
