Alaya F has claimed that she “nearly” chose a career other than acting and that one needs put in a lot of effort in whichever career they choose. She was talking to dJ Mohabbat in an interview that was conducted in advance of her upcoming film, Almost Pyaar. Alaya is the granddaughter of Kabir Bedi and the actress Pooja Bedi.
When asked what she thought about famous kids choosing non-show business occupations, Alaya responded, “It’s terrific. I nearly pursued a career outside of performing. The secret is to put a lot of effort into whatever you choose to accomplish and to battle for recognition in your field.
Alaya F signed for films before she made her acting debut in Jawaani Jaaneman in 2020 opposite Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, but those projects never materialized. In a recent interview with MidDay, she claimed that although people would enjoy her audition reels, they would never follow up with formal offers.
Anurag assured her he had the ideal movie for her after viewing her reels. With newcomer Karan Mehta, Alaya will now be featured in Anurag Kashyap’s film Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat.
The Marrakech Film Festival hosted the world premiere of Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat. It was performed outside in Jemaa El Fna Square in Marrakech. With all the great people of Marrakech present, it was such a weird experience to premiere our movie Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohobbat on the large screen in the midst of Jemaa El Fna Square.”
