A video of a leopard and porcupine meeting that depicts parents’ protectiveness has gone viral on the Internet.

Porcupines are seen crossing the road with “their baby” as a leopard comes near in a video tweeted by IAS officer Supriya Sahuthe on Friday. The adult porcupines protect the infant by keeping it between them. The large cat circles around them and tries to attack, but his attempts are futile.

One of the porcupines screams angrily at the leopard, thwarting the predator’s attempt. The prickly quills kept the leopard from approaching the baby.

While sharing the video, the officer wrote, “Porcupine parents provide Z class security to their baby from a leopard, fighting valiantly & thwarting all attempts of the leopard to even touch their baby,”

Similar to the circumstances depicted in this video released by IAS officer Supriya Sahu. The video of an elephant munching on a plastic bag has enraged Twitter users and spurred debate.

“When humans become slaves of throwaway plastic the price is paid by wild animals. It’s a tragedy beyond measure,” she commented, sharing the footage. She also included the hashtags #stopplasticpollution and #ClimateCrisis.

An elephant stands in the centre of a clearing in the footage. Within seconds, the gentle giant’s trunk takes up a piece of plastic bag. The animal takes it in his mouth after briefly waving it around.
