Boston Dynamics presented the latest demo of Atlas, a humanoid robot, on its official YouTube channel on Wednesday. ”It’s time for Atlas to pick up a new set of skills and get hands-on. In this video, the humanoid robot manipulates the world around it: Atlas interacts with objects and modifies the course to reach its goal-pushing the limits of locomotion, sensing, and athleticism,” The description of the video reads.

The video shows the bipedal robot’s incredible agility and dexterity as it supports a worker on a simulated building site. The robot is seen in the video executing a variety of duties such as sprinting, jumping, grabbing, and throwing objects while assisting a worker. The robot demonstrates its outstanding speed and athletic ability by tossing planks and climbing a set of steps, as well as carefully balancing a bag over its head. After finishing all chores, the robot smoothly performs a backflip.
