BEIRUT: Naeem Qasim has been appointed as the interim leader of Hezbollah after the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah.
A month after the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrullah, the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah has elected Naeem Qassem as its official leader.
Naeem Qasim was Hassan Nasrullah’s deputy for a long time and after Hassan Nasrullah’s martyrdom, he was made acting head of the organization, while he had previously been a member of the Hezbollah Shura Committee three times in a row.
After the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrullah, there was a strong possibility that his cousin and son-in-law Hashem Safieddine was elected as the head of Hezbollah, but Safieddine was also martyred in an Israeli attack a few days ago.
It should be noted that Hassan Nasrullah, who was the Secretary General and head of Hezbollah for a long time, was martyred in an Israeli attack last month.
