“I was, am and always will be a mummy’s boy so this news has completely floored me,” he expressed. “I spoke to her every day and in some ways I’m glad I’m the one that found her asleep.”

Reflecting on the cherished moments he shared with his mother, Dean Gaffney continued, “Whilst I understand the circle of life means everyone will feel this pain at some point in their lives, life can be very cruel at times, 69 is no age.”

The pain of realizing that he will never be able to physically interact with or converse with his mother again is a level of suffering that he has never known before. He urged people to express their love genuinely and be fully present with their loved ones.

“We all tell our parents and loved ones we love them flippantly at the end of a phone call but please tell them you actually really love them… put down that phone when you’re with them, as my mums only criticism of me was that I would be on my phone when in her company. Life really does change from one minute to the next,” Gaffney emphasized.

Dean Gaffney concluded his tribute with an outpouring of love and emotion: “I truly love you Mum, you don’t only hold a special place in my heart, you are my heart.”

Gaffney’s former co-stars and friends, familiar with his mother’s character, also joined in sharing their condolences for his profound loss.

Blue Singer Lee Ryan Faces Leg Injury During Flight To Turkey

Lee Ryan

Lee Ryan has faced yet another setback as he reportedly encountered an assault on an aeroplane while travelling to Turkey. The 40-year-old singer, known for his role in the band Blue, alleges that he was pushed down a flight of stairs by a male passenger during the flight. Lee’s bandmates, including Simon Webbe, Duncan James, and Antony Costa, quickly came to his aid in response to the alleged attack. The incident supposedly took place on a Turkish Airlines flight from Georgia to Istanbul.

The band took to Instagram to issue a joint statement regarding the incident. According to their statement, Lee Ryan was physically assaulted by a fellow passenger during the flight. Both Lee and the other individual involved were reportedly questioned by the Turkish police, and Lee willingly provided a victim statement with the band’s support.

The band explained that the alleged attack occurred after Lee placed his feet on the seat, which was considered culturally insensitive, although Lee was unaware of this. They clarified that Eastenders actor, Lee, was not arrested, detained, or charged with any offence. After giving his statement, he was able to continue his journey without further incident.

This incident follows Lee’s recent legal troubles, including his successful bid to withdraw a guilty plea for biting a police officer. During the court proceedings, Lee revealed that he has ADHD and autism and claimed to have received poor advice from his previous lawyer. In January, he was found guilty of racially aggravated assault against a black British Airways flight attendant.
