Zeynep gained fame for her spectacular performance as Goncagül in the historical TV series.

Turkish star Cengiz Coşkun aka Turgut Alp, who essayed the acclaimed role in the historical drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul, seems to be a die-hard fan of Pakistani origin Dutch singer Imran Khan.

The actor took to Instagram and shared a video of him riding a heavy bike with Imran Khan’s hit song Satisfya in the background.

Cengiz Coşkun rose to fame with his stellar performance as Turgut Alp in Dirilis: Ertugrul. Historically, he was one of the warriors and alps who fought for Ertuğrul.

Taking to Instagram, the Turkish actress stunned fans with her new picture and left them gushing over her timeless beauty.

Earlier, she had received intense flak from Muslim fans for exposing her body after she had uploaded a bold snap on Instagram.

Trurkish actor Huseyin OZAY, the Korkut Bey of Diriliş Ertuğrul has passed away. Esra Bilgic announced the death of Hüseyin Özay on Twitter.

Sharing the sad news Esra wrote, “Sad News for All Dirilis Ertugrul Fans. The actor Huseyin OZAY who played KORKUT BEY(brother of Hayme Ana) is passed away. Rest In Peace #ertuğrulghazi.”

Sources said that the funeral of the master player will be buried on Wednesday, August 4, after the noon prayer.

While working as a voice actor, Ozay stepped onto the stage with theater in 1980 and then acted in many theaters, TV series, and movies.

Hüseyin Özay was born on January 1, 1959, in Samsun Vezirköprü, started to study theatre by writing to Samsun Municipality conservatory.

Turkish actress Hande Subasi, popularly known as Aykiz from the historic drama serial Diriliş: Ertuğrul, said she was “not happy” over the backlash from netizens for the things she does in her private life.

In an interview, the Turkish actress was asked whether she felt offended at being criticized for posting pictures that her Pakistani fans find too bold, the actress agreed it was a sensitive issue, adding that she knew fans usually associate actors with the characters they play on-screen.

Replying to the question, she said, “My job, though, was only to do my professional best, and to give life to Aykiz. This does not make me Aykiz,” she said.

“I’m Hande. I really appreciate the admiration of my fans but I’m not happy about being criticized and getting negative comments about things that I do in my personal life”, she added more.

Earlier, Former Miss Turkey had shared a picture with her beau Alican Ulusoy.

She uploaded a loved-up picture with her boyfriend enjoying at the beach, on her Instagram account.

‘Dirilis: Ertugrul’ most widely watched series with non-obscene content: PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has recently said that Turkish historical drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul is the most widely watched series without any obscenity.

The premier has reminded the nation about his initial thoughts on Dirilis: Ertugrul, being aired on state-run television with Urdu dubbing.

During an interview with a private TV, PM Imran Khan said, “I warned against copying the west and Bollywood alike but people said this is what the public wants to watch. Ertugrul is also one of the most widely watched series, it doesn’t have any obscenity.”

The national television PTV is telecasting popular Turkish drama, dubbed as the ‘Turkish Game of Thrones’ by its fans worldwide, on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In March, the PM had issued special instructions to the broadcaster to air the series in a bid to boost Islamic culture and values among young people.

Earlier, Diriliş: Ertuğrul had earned a spot in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ as the best dramatic work to date.

The drama series shows the history of how the Ottoman Empire was established, led by Ertugrul, the father of Osman I, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. Prime Minister Imran Khan had recommended Pakistanis to watch the series which will help enlighten them with the golden era of Islam.

The drama series has gripped Pakistani audience with its daring protagonist, cliffhangers and high production values since it began broadcasting in the month of Ramadan. The Urdu-language version of the show has racked up more than 240 million views on YouTube alone.
