Opposition only talks nonsense and behaves recklessly: Firdous Ashiq

FIRDOUS ASHIQ Awan Elahi-Zardari Meeting

Special Assistant to Chief Minister (CM) Punjab, Firdous Ashiq Awan has on Wednesday (today) while taunting at the Opposition said that the movie of resignations has already flopped.

Lamenting at the ‘irresponsible’ Opposition leaders, Firdous said that the situation of Coronavirus is ‘much serious’ while the PDM’s situation is ‘thin’.

She added that those who risked people’s lives during the second wave of the pandemic, have their oown politics at stake and PDM Chief Maulana Fazl’s castle has been torn apart by his own people.

Firdous further added that the status of PDM masses in front of Prime Minister Imran Khan is like dwarfs and dwarf politicians are only cracking lame jokes rather than acting sensibly.

On the other hand, the special assistant told that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is currently under isolation and has urged the masses to strictly follow COVID-19 SOPs in order to curb its spread.

Earlier, Firdous Ashiq slammed the Opposition’s alliance, blaming them for being wreckless and holding jalsas at a time when the entire country was gripped by the second wave of the pandemic.

“The results of PDM’s activities of spreading coronavirus through jalsas has been received. Despite taking all precautions, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has contracted coronavirus. All of us are praying for his speedy recovery,” she said.

The government has appealed to the Opposition to suspend its jalsas as coronavirus cases across the country rise.

As Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar contracted Coronavirus on Monday, Firdous Ashiq Awan, aide to Punjab’s CM, said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was to blame for his infection.

Taking to Twitter, Dr Firdous slams the Opposition’s alliance, blaming them for being wreckless and holding jalsas at a time when the entire country was gripped by the second wave of the pandemic.

The govt. couldn’t be toppled by holding rallies: Firdous Ashiq

Firdous Ashiq lashed out at PDM

Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday has on Sunday termed the Opposition rallies the main cause of COVID-19 spread across Pakistan.

Firdous Ashiq lashed out at the Opposition over their irresponsible behaviours during the second wave of the COVID-19. She said that 25 more people succumbed to coronavirus during the past 24 hours in Punjab.

Awan maintained that 662 more people tested positive for the COVID-19 in the province.

PTI came into power through the power of the vote, she said, adding that the government could not be toppled by the rallies.

Speaking further about the economy, the special assistant said that political stability was vital for economic stability.

She said that the opposition meeting scheduled to be held on 13th of December will prove to be a flop-show.

Earlier in a day, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President, Maryam Nawaz has on Sunday urged her party workers to respond quickly if any case registered against them by the incumbent government.

The VP lamented the PTI government as 3,000 first information reports (FIR) are filed after every rally held by the Opposition.

Maryam’s remarks came to light ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s rally planned at Lahore’s Minar-e-Pakistan monument on December 13.

Although Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the 11-party Opposition alliance will not be prevented from holding the rally, he vowed that cases will be registered against all organisers and facilitators of the rally.

Maryam spoke at length about how the party’s popularity has been propelled by the social media teams.

Moreover, Maryam said that the PDM is about to make big decisions ahead of a meeting between alliance members on December 8.

“The people of Pakistan have won this war. Victory only remains to be declared in the rally on the 13th,” she said.
