SHANGLA: Two policemen were martyred and three others injured in terrorist attack on a police post in Chakesar area of Shangla District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police, in Chakesar area of Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, terrorists attacked the police post Gannagar with a hand grenade as a result of which 2 officials including Assistant Sub-Inspector were martyred while three including Moharr were also injured.
According to the police, among the martyred officers are ASI Hassan Khan and Sepoy Nisar Khan, while the injured include Moharar Arshad Khan, Sepoy Arshad Khan and Rifat.
According to the police, the injured officials have been shifted to Battagram Hospital.
Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the attack by Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists on a police check post in Shangla. He paid tribute to the 2 police personnel who were martyred in the firing.
He expressed grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of ASI Hassan Khan and Head Constable Nisar Khan and expressed his heartfelt condolences to their families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the 3 injured police personnels.
Interior Minister said that ASI Hassan Khan and Head Constable Nisar Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have attained the high rank of martyrdom, the martyrs are our pride and we stand with their families.
