Dangal Part 2: Maharashtra’s Aurangabad Any goal or ambition a youngster has in life requires the family’s unwavering support. Because of this, their support and encouragement are crucial in motivating someone to reach new heights. Sometimes children are inspired by their parents’ interests and careers to pursue similar paths, and at that point, their own motivation takes precedence, followed by their family’s ongoing support.
Such instances of sportsmen succeeding in competitions while receiving parental coaching are common in sports. But isn’t it uncommon for a family to have many winners at a competition? Yes, the Basha family of Aurangabad, whose three members each won a comparable competition, accomplished this feat after the “Dangal” (Phogat) family.
They took home medals from the second Khandesh swimming championship, which took place in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Madan Basha, his wife Meera Basha, and their son Vraj Basha all took home medals in the competition. The Basha family made headlines and was the talk of Aurangabad after winning a total of six medals.
The Basha family resides in the Kharakuwa neighbourhood of Aurangabad’s Supari Hanuman Mandir. While Meera Basha is a lawyer, Madan Basha is a teacher. According to reports, Mr. Madan began swimming at the urging of friends when he was 24 years old, and as a result, he won numerous medals at various competitions.
