Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently addressed his brother Arbaaz Khan’s divorce from actress Malaika Arora and shared valuable advice for his nephew, Arhaan Khan, during a podcast appearance.
On Arhaan’s YouTube channel, Dumb Biryani, Salman spoke candidly about the impact of the divorce on his family and emphasized the importance of focusing on one’s career and family life.
Salman acknowledged the challenges Arhaan has faced following his parents’ separation, noting, “After your mom and dad’s relationship (divorce), you have to make it on your own. One day you will have your own family and unit. So this is what you have to work on to have your own family.”
He further emphasized the significance of family traditions, saying, “The culture of having lunch and dinner with family should always be there,” and added, “There should always be a head of the family, who should be respected.”
Arhaan, 22, has shown an interest in opening a restaurant, and Salman’s advice centered around the value of both family unity and respect. For context, Arhaan’s parents, Arbaaz and Malaika, divorced in 2017, citing compatibility issues after 18 years of marriage. Malaika later dated actor Arjun Kapoor, while Arbaaz remarried makeup artist Sshura Khan in 2023.
