ANF seizes 273 kg drug in eight operations

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered over 273 kg drug and arrested six drug peddlers in eight operation across the country.

ANF spokesman said 3.5 kg Ice drug was recovered from a parcel booked for Bangladesh at the courier office in Karachi.

In another operation, 3 kg hashish was recovered from a parcel sent from Karachi to Peshawar.

416 grams heroin was recovered from the possession of a passenger going to Sharjah at Peshawar Airport.

770 liters of hydrochloric acid was recovered from Chaman area while 108 kg hashish and 73 kg opium were recovered from Tarnol, Rawalpindi and two accused were netted during the operation.

33.6 kg hashish was recovered from two accused rounded up in Othal Lasbela.

ANF in an operation managed to recover 32 kg heroin from Lakpas Mustang area. Over 19 kg hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused in Jamshoro Toll Plaza, Hyderabad.

Separate cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 128 kg drugs and arrested five drug peddlers in different operations across the country.

ANF spokesman informed that 40 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from a passenger going to Jeddah at Peshawar Airport.

63 kg hashish was recovered from Zakhakhel Khyber area and 58.8 kg hashish was recovered from two suspects rounded up near National Highway Hyderabad.

In fourth operation, 4.8 kg hashish was recovered from an accused arrested from Noor Shah Road Sahiwal.

1.2 kg hashish was recovered from the accused netted near G.T Road Suhawa Jhelum.

RAWALPINDI:  Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested nine drug peddlers including two women and recovered 138 kg drugs from their possession during raids.

ANF Spokesman informed that 2 kg of Ice drug was recovered from a parcel at a Cargo Office in Lahore.

In another operation, 1 kg of Ice was recovered from a parcel being sent to Bahrain from DHL Sadar, Peshawar.

In the third operation, 50 kg hashish and 40 kg opium were recovered from the possession of two accused arrested near M-1 Motorway Islamabad.15 kg hashish and 12 kg opium were recovered from an accused netted near Motorway Bridge Peshawar.

In the fifth operation, 6 kg of weed was recovered from the possession of 2 suspects nabbed near M-9, Jamshoro Toll Plaza.  ANF team recovered 6 kg hashish from three accused including two women arrested near Iqbal Shaheed Toll Plaza G.T Road Attock.

In the seventh operation, four kg of hashish was recovered from Kohat and in the eighth operation, 1 kg of heroin was recovered from the possession of an accused near Sher Shah Toll Plaza.

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested eight drug peddlers and recovered 155 kg drugs from their possession.

ANF spokesman informed that 2 kg heroin was recovered from a parcel booked for the UK at a cargo office at Allama Iqbal Airport while an accused was also arrested.

In the second operation, 102 kg of hashish was recovered from the Kuchlak bypass area in Quetta.

In the third operation conducted at Karkhano market Peshawar, 30 kg charras were recovered.

14 kg hashish was recovered from two accused rounded up from Jail Road Haripur area while 5 kg hashish was recovered from Theera Orakzai area.

In the sixth operation, 1 kg of hashish was recovered from three accused arrested from the Pirwadhai Mor area in Rawalpindi.

In the seventh operation, 300 intoxicated tablets (ecstasy) were recovered from the possession of two accused netted in the Bahria Town Phase-4 area in Rawalpindi.

Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested seven drug paddlers and recovered 56 kilogram drugs from their possession in four different raids.

Spokesman said ANF foiled a drug smuggling bid through a luxury vehicle and recovered 30 kg heroin recovered from a Toyota Land Cruiser intercepted near Motorway Toll Plaza Islamabad.

During the operation, five 30-bore pistols with magazines were also recovered. Two accused residents of Khyber and Peshawar were arrested on the spot.

In another operation, 14.4 kg hashish was recovered from a vehicle near Qamar Deen Park Lahore while two accused were arrested. On the plantation of the arrested person, two other accused including a woman were also arrested.

In the third operation, 9.6 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of a bike rider.

Similarly, an Afghan resident was arrested during a raid on a house near Yaro Railway Track in Quetta. 2 kg of Ice drug 190 litres of hydrochloric acid and different types of prohibited powder were recovered from the house which was being used to store drugs.
