Bollywood versatile actor Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Twitter and issued a warning notice to fans regarding the ongoing covid-19 crisis in India.

The Big B took to Twitter and issued the warning.

In the statement, he wrote, “Even though conditions on CoviD, in some locations, may be seeing a decline. PLEASE DO NOT be lax .. keep the protocol .. Wash hands, wear masks, keep the distance, control travel to the very essentials, and follow the time limits .. and get VACCINATED” (sic)

Amitabh Bachchan Has Donated INR15 Crore towards Covid-19 relief work

As the second wave of coronavirus has wreaked havoc in India, many Bollywood celebrities are donating a handsome amount of money for the COVID-19 relief work.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he has contributed and donated about 15 crore rupees.

In his latest blog, Big B said,

“In this battle against this virus, many have contributed and continue to be resolved in more .. the mention in the information circles resounds with the 2 cr that I donated for the care Centre in Delhi for the moment .. but as days go by the figure of my personal contribution and donation shall be about 15 crore rupees.”

“Of course such figures are beyond my means, but I work and labor and resolve to dig into my earnings for those that need it most and with the kindness of the Almighty have been able to give this amount,” the Pink actor added.

Amitabh Bachchan also provided an update on pending efforts.

“The Oxygen Concentrators, another dire need, has also been put on a very fast track through suppliers from the overseas companies. Also, I am happy to state that the 20 ventilators that I had ordered from overseas have started to arrive,” Sholay actor added.

Amitabh highlighted his charitable endeavors during the pandemic after being repeatedly accused of negligence on social media.

Aishwarya Rai, daughter contracts COVID-19, Jaya Bachchan tested negative

Legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan announced on social media that he has contracted COVID-19. Amitabh’s son Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted that he had tested positive for Coronavirus.

Rumours began to spread about Amitabh Bachchan being admitted to Nanavati Hospital, which is close to his Juhu home.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that firstly Amitabh and Abhishek and now Aishwariya Rai and her daughter Aradhya are COVID-19 positive and rest in the family and staff have tested negative and currently in isolation.

Reportedly, Jaya Bachchan and other staff members’ coronavirus antigen test came negative, while the report of swab test is still awaited.

Maharashtra Health Minister told, “Only Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s corona report has come as of now. Their family members, staff, drivers etc have been tested for the deadly virus at Nanavati Hospital and the reports are expected to come by July 12.”

Soon after the news broke online, a number of celebrity stars expressed heartfelt wishes to both the father and son and wished them speedy recovery.

On the other hand, the sanitization workers of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) arrived at Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa residence in Mumbai on Sunday morning.

Jalsa is now a containment zone and no one is allowed to enter or exit the place. A team of 18-20 personnel, including doctors, arrived at Jalsa to collect the samples of those whose tests are still pending.

Another team was there to collect the COVID-19 waste of Amitabh and Abhishek and another team sanitized the entire property deeply.
