Acclaimed singer Ali Zafar is over the moon after his Pashto song remains trending number 1 on YouTube and garnered huge success.

‘Larsha Pekhawar’ by Ali Zafar features Gul Panra and Fortitude Pukhtoon Core, dedicated to the Pashtun brothers and sisters. The singer took to his Instagram to express his feelings after his song received immense appreciation and love.

He posted the BTS dance clip from the song and expressed his gratitude saying: “While we were dancing on this, who knew the song will go on to trend on #1 for one whole month on @youtubemusic. A new record! This demands double celebration.”

The Jhoom Jhoom singer further said that that the record-breaking success needs to have a double celebration.

However, according to the music video’s description on YouTube, the song is a dedication to “Pashtun brothers and sisters”. “A tribute to their vibrant culture, values and most of all bravery,” it read.

In an earlier video message on Instagram, Zafar had called the song a “humble tribute to a great people with one of the most vibrant, honourable and powerful cultures in the world”.

Previously, Zafar took to Twitter to share the music video, stating: “Dedicated to one of the bravest, greatest and most resilient people – Pashtuns”.

The singer’s earlier two regional songs, Laila O’ Laila and Allay have surpassed a record 67 million views on YouTube alone.

The heartfelt tribute to the Sindhi traditions and culture, Allay, featuring rap star Abid Brohi garnered 30 million views on YouTube in just nine months. Whereas, the singer’s Balochi duet with 12-year-old child prodigy Urooj Fatima, Laila O Laila, recently crossed 37 million views on YouTube.

Pakistani singer, Ali Zafar sings his latest hit Pashto song ‘Larsha Pekhawar’ at the Rawalpindi Stadium. 

Ali Zafar recently posted a video on Twitter, in which he is singing his first-ever Pashto song.

The song also featured leading Pashto singer Gul Panra and the song was released last month. As per his promise, Ali Zafar has blessed his fanbase up North with a new version of Larsha Pekhawar on Pashtun culture day.

Ali Zafar dedicates this song to Pashtun brothers and sisters and gives tribute to their vibrant culture, values, and most of all bravery.

Joined by Gul Panra and Fortitude Pakhtun Core, Ali Zafar has added unique energy into his upbeat track.
