Meghan Markle is expected to criticize her father in a ‘Father’s Day special’ podcast

Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is rumoured to be recording a new podcast in which she would explore ‘difficult’ aspects of her life.

Meghan, who is preparing to go alone with her summer show Archetypes, is expected to discuss her turbulent ties with her father, Thomas Markle.

Royal expert Neil Sean said on his YouTube channel: “Meghan does plan to introduce topics perhaps about motherhood, parenting and family relations which will be addressed head-on.

“While you will not actually be hearing her mention those problematic areas of her life, you will be able to decipher the bones of the conversation and more importantly, how she see the situation unfolding, whether she’s given advice or discussing a topic related to something very similar.

“Of course, it does get her side of the story out while not addressing those thorny issues, particularly things like, where she hasn’t spoken to her father in over four years.

“Perhaps she may do a special on father’s or Father’s Day.

“This way Meghan gets her voice out without actually upsetting anybody.”

In the promotional trailer for the show, the mother-of-two is heard saying: “This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls, and how the media reflects women back to us… but where do these stereotypes come from? And how do they keep showing up and defining our lives?”

The clip also included: “This is Archetypes, the podcast where we dissect, explore, and subvert the labels that try to hold women back. I’ll have conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape our narratives. And I’ll talk to historians to understand how we even got here in the first place.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s secret date before marriage

Meghan Markle

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle initially started dating, they were determined to keep their relationship private.

They were said to have been dating for about six months in 2016 before the news leaked that Harry was dating Meghan, an actress from the smash TV program Suits.

This means that when Meghan first arrived in London from Toronto to stay with Harry, they tried hard not to draw attention to themselves.

As a result, they chose an unexpected location for one of their early dates: a supermarket. And they feigned not to know each other in order to remain “incognito.”

While talking about the date last year on Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Harry said: “There’s people looking at me, giving me all these weird looks, and coming up to me and saying ‘hi’.

“I texted her saying ‘is this the right one,’ and she said ‘no you want parchment paper,’ and I’m like where’s the parchment paper?!”

“I had a baseball cap on, looking down at the floor, trying to stay incognito. It’s amazing how much chewing gum you see, it’s a mess!”

On the same podcast, Harry demonstrated how he can transport Archie on the back of his bicycle, which he claims he never had the opportunity to do in the UK.

He explained: “Living here now I can actually lift my head and actually I feel different, my shoulders have dropped, so have hers, you can walk around feeling a little bit more free.”

Meghan and Archie have yet to return, and Lilibet, who was born in America, has never visited Britain.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry respond to a report on the effects of COVID-19 on women

Meghan Markle

The Archewell Foundation, founded by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, issued a statement in response to a new analysis on the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on women.

The statement issued on the organization’s website read, “Last week, our friends at the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) released a new report that provides a timely snapshot of the continuing, multi-faceted impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women and mothers. While men have returned to the workforce at pre-pandemic levels, the report finds 1.1 million fewer women are in the labor force today than in February 2020.”

The statement said,  “NWLC also draws on new, national survey data to detail the disproportionate mental, economic, and health burdens on women — particularly among Black women, Latinas, and other women of color, who as a result of the pandemic, are more likely to be managing caregiving responsibilities, navigating loss of household income, dealing with food insecurity, and battling mental health struggles.”

It added, “To address this uneven toll, the NWLC has put forth policy suggestions for a women-centered recovery.”

Royal Family fans awestruck by the Queen's youngest grandchild

Prince Philip’s grandchildren flocked to his memorial service yesterday to pay their respects to their late grandfather. Lady Louise Windsor, his youngest grandchild, had a lot in common with the Duke of Edinburgh.

Louise, 18, donned a classic navy dress to the Westminster Abbey service, which she paired with a navy blazer and various pieces of jewellery. And it appears that one of her outfits was a discreet but meaningful tribute to her grandfather. A lovely carriage driving brooch was pinned to her clothing, paying homage to their mutual passion for the equestrian sport.

One of the royal fan said, “Isn’t Lady Louise Windsor absolutely blossoming. I hope she decides she’d like to play a greater role when she finishes her full time education. I wonder if she will take up her title and become the next Princess Louise.”

Another said, “she becomes more and more beautiful” while another said “beautiful Lady Louise Windsor is wearing a Clogau necklace containing rare Welsh gold”.

Kate Middleton flaunts Queen's £66.3 million diamond necklace

The Nizam of Hyderabad necklace is the most valuable piece in Her Majesty’s collection. According to analysts at jewellery box, this is worth a stunning £66.3 million. The necklace was a wedding gift from the Nizam of Hyderabad to the Queen (then Princess Elizabeth) in 1947.

Nizam, who was immensely affluent, told Cartier to let her choose whatever she desired.

The necklace and a floral tiara with removable components that could be used as brooches were given to Elizabeth.

Since becoming a member of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton has worn the necklace.

Kate’s jewellery selections, notably when she wore this necklace, were discussed by Charlotte White, head of design at 77 Diamonds, Europe’s largest online diamond jeweller.

She said: “Kate’s jewellery style choices are largely acknowledged to be impeccable and they have attracted legions of fans.

“She has certainly donned some of the most prized, rare and valuable jewels in the world in her time.”

Is Prince Andrew’s attendance at the Jubilee celebrations going to irritate Prince Charles and William?

Prince Andrew

A royal analyst believes that Prince Andrew’s attendance at the Epsom Derby for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee festivities will ‘surely enrage a lot of people.’

If Queen Elizabeth permits her favourite son Prince Andrew to escort her to Epsom, royal analyst Natalie Oliveri feels the Jubilee will be a disaster.

On the Australian Today Extra programme, she said this when discussing Andrew’s possible return to Epsom Derby.

The Sun quoted Oliveri as saying, “I think it could really backfire for the Royal Family.

“This is not going to be a good look if Prince Andrew does accompany his mother to the Epsom Derby later this year.”

The royal expert further said: “It will certainly leave a lot of people angry.”

Prince Andrew brought his mother to Prince Philip’s memorial on March 29, nearly two months after settling the Virginia Giuffre lawsuit, Natalie Oliveri said.

According to recent rumours, Prince Andrew is expected to return to Epsom with her mother for the Platinum Jubilee weekend.

According to sources, Prince William and Prince Charles are “very opposed” to Prince Andrew returning to public life.

Did you know Prince George’s new prep school fee?

Did you know Prince George's new prep school fee?

Prince William and Kate Middleton are apparently preparing to send the future King Prince George to a new school outside of London, where their other children, Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, six, are now enrolled.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are apparently relocating from London to Berkshire, necessitating the establishment of a new school for their eldest son Prince George.

George’s new prep school for includes everything from a pig farm to a golf course and costs a whooping £25,000 per year.

The co-educational prep school for 590 boys and girls ages three to thirteen costs between £6,448 and £6,999 per term, plus £1,481 per term for boarding.

George’s annual bill would be between £23,787 and £25,440 if he boarded at the school, but it would be between £19,344 and £20,997 if he returned home each day.

Given Kate’s love in outdoor learning, the school is nestled amid 52 acres of Berkshire countryside, making it a good fit for George.

Prince Andrew sparks outrage with his rumoured plans to attend more engagements with the Queen

Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew is said to be in talks to join the Queen to the Epsom Derby on Platinum Jubilee weekend, and a source believes the Duke “doesn’t comprehend” the “public outrage” that surrounded his last public visit.

The Duke of York accompanied the Queen, 95, at the 73-year-old Prince Philip’s memorial service last week. The queen was seen holding Andrew’s arm while also gripping a walking stick, while the mother and son arrived together and utilised a separate entrance from the other royals.

Andrew made his first public appearance since his civil dispute with his accuser Virginia Giuffre was settled out of court. He has categorically denied all allegations levelled against him.

Following their participation at the event, the Duke of York is expected to accompany his mother to the Epsom horse meet in June.

The Duke, however, “doesn’t seem to comprehend the popular anger” over his participation at the memorial, according to a source.

A source said: “He was meant to stay invisible during the Platinum Jubilee so there is no way he will be at events like Trooping the Colour.”

“But the Queen needs a chaperone on all occasions at the moment due to her mobility issues and Andrew has earmarked the Derby as the one he will accompany her at. He just doesn’t seem to understand the public outcry.”

Commentators and the general public had conflicting reactions to the Duke’s presence at the event.

Judi James, a body language expert, claimed that his position as the monarch’s right-hand man saw him shadow Prince Philip’s role as consort, while Vanity Fair’s Royal Editor Katie Nicholl believes the move signifies the monarch’s desire to be more involved in the public eye “He believes he is not guilty. She expressed her point emphatically “.
