Meera Jee Meets Veteran Actress, Singer Salma Agha

Legendary Pakistani actress Meera Jee met another veteran singer and actress Salma Agha in Dubai.

The multi-talented Salma Agha is a Pakistani actress who had worked in Indian and well Pakistani movies in the 1980s and early 90s.

She made her acting debut with a romantic movie Nikkah (1982) and sang many songs of the movie for herself. She got fame for her role in Kasam Paida Karne Walay Ki (1984) opposite Mithun Chakraborty, and for her song “Come Closer” from the same film.

Taking to Twitter, Meera jee shared multiple photos with the veteran artist and captioned the post as,

“Coming to see my favorite favorite”

Recently, she shares new photos on her social media handle enjoying eating a burger by the poolside. Everything looks fine, however, one of the photos turns out to be hilarious for the netizens.

Meera continues to deny marriage with Atiq-ur-Rehman

Actress Meera’s appeal in the marriage denial case was heard in Lahore Sessions Court today.

Presenting the record of the videos, actress Meera told the court that she is a famous actress, people want to be known by her name, she is innocent, the decision of the family court should be annulled.

Additional Sessions Judge Rai Mohammad Khan heard the appeal of actress Meera in the marriage denial case. Actress Meera appeared before the court and completed her attendance.

She told the court that Atiq-ur-Rehman is not her husband, she is a famous actress, people want to be known by her name.

Actress Meera also presented a record of the videos in the court which was ordered to be made a part of the court record and a further hearing was adjourned till February 10.

Meera’s Marriage:

In May 2018, a family court in Lahore ruled that Meera is legally married to Atiq-ur-Rehman after she tried to deny her marriage.

The court gave the veteran actress a chance to reconcile with her husband. As per the details, Meera and Atiq had developed differences over the ownership of a house.

Meera’s case has been going on for the past couple of years and the actress has time and again told the court that she had not married Atiq-ur-Rehman.

Pakistani actress Meera has revealed that she was offered many Bollywood movies when she went to India. The Baaji actress said that she was even offered a role opposite Bollywood’s Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan.

Irtiza Rubab, mostly known by her stage name Meera, is a Pakistani film actress and television presenter. She has appeared in Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi movies.

Moreover, the actress is known as the “Controversy Queen” of Pakistan.

In an online interview, Meera Jee revealed that she was offered a role opposite Saif Ali Khan in the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The veteran actress also said that she had also signed many contracts to work in other Bollywood films, including Jhansi Ki Rani.

Curiously, 2012’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan starred Shahrukh Khan, not Saif Ali Khan.

The Baaji actress told that after relations between the two countries, India and Pakistan worsened, she had to come back to Pakistan without being a part of Bollywood movies.

Asked about the differences between the Indian and Pakistani film industries, Meera said that in the Indian film industry, actors are better-taken care of.

Earlier, film star Meera had lost her iPhone and sought help from her followers.

‘Baaji’ actress shared a video message in which she informed her fans that she has lost her iPhone. She has asked her fans to help her find it.

In return, the actress has promised to give a reward of Rs 5 lac to the one who will find the phone.
