Meera is legally the wife of Atiq-ur-Rehman, report

A sessions court has ruled that actress Meera is legally wife of Atiq-ur- Rehman. Furthermore, the court denied the showbiz star’s plea to overturn the marriage verdict.

Additional Meetings Judge Mazhar Abbas ruled that the nikkahnama [marriage contract] is valid, and so the actress is still legally married to Atiq. However, the actress, real name Irtiza Rubab, claimed that Atiq forged a marriage contract and that they were never officially married.

“I’m not Atique-ur-Rehman’s wife. He made a fake marriage contract,” she said.

However, the actress, whose actual name is Irtiza Rubab, claims that Atiq fabricated a marriage contract and that they were never legally married.

Meesha Shafi’s exemption plea rejected by the court

Ali Zafar opens up about Meesha Shafi’s ‘self-proclaimed victory’

A Lahore district court seized with a defamation lawsuit brought by musician Ali Zafar against Meesha Shafi and others has refused their appeal for “dispensation of attendance” for Friday, saying her motive for seeking exemptions is unjustifiable.

The court approved accused Fariha Ayub’s petition, ruling that her application was legitimate and granting her exemption.

However, the court rejected the pleas of Syed Faizan Raza, Haseemuz Zaaman, Meera alias Meesha, Maham Javaid, and Ali Gull Pir and issued bailable arrest warrants against them.

It should be noted that the Zalima Coca Cola Pila De singer had filed a lawsuit on a sexual harassment claim against popular singer Ali Zafar. In the second session of Ali Zafar’s counter-defamation lawsuit, the singer told the judge that Zafar touched her in public in 2017.

Meera continues to deny marriage with Atiq-ur-Rehman

Actress Meera’s appeal in the marriage denial case was heard in Lahore Sessions Court today.

Presenting the record of the videos, actress Meera told the court that she is a famous actress, people want to be known by her name, she is innocent, the decision of the family court should be annulled.

Additional Sessions Judge Rai Mohammad Khan heard the appeal of actress Meera in the marriage denial case. Actress Meera appeared before the court and completed her attendance.

She told the court that Atiq-ur-Rehman is not her husband, she is a famous actress, people want to be known by her name.

Actress Meera also presented a record of the videos in the court which was ordered to be made a part of the court record and a further hearing was adjourned till February 10.

Meera’s Marriage:

In May 2018, a family court in Lahore ruled that Meera is legally married to Atiq-ur-Rehman after she tried to deny her marriage.

The court gave the veteran actress a chance to reconcile with her husband. As per the details, Meera and Atiq had developed differences over the ownership of a house.

Meera’s case has been going on for the past couple of years and the actress has time and again told the court that she had not married Atiq-ur-Rehman.

Pakistani actress Meera has revealed that she was offered many Bollywood movies when she went to India. The Baaji actress said that she was even offered a role opposite Bollywood’s Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan.

Curiously, 2012’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan starred Shahrukh Khan, not Saif Ali Khan.

The Baaji actress told that after relations between the two countries, India and Pakistan worsened, she had to come back to Pakistan without being a part of Bollywood movies.

Asked about the differences between the Indian and Pakistani film industries, Meera said that in the Indian film industry, actors are better-taken care of.

Earlier, film star Meera had lost her iPhone and sought help from her followers.
