Bushra Ansari Sheds Light On How Islam Empowers Women

Bushra Ansari, a versatile Pakistani celebrity renowned for her acting, writing, and hosting skills, is highly regarded by her fans for her comedic talents. Her recent portrayal as Maa Begum in the popular drama serial “Tere Bin” has garnered significant attention, earning her immense admiration for her character and wardrobe.

In a recent appearance on “The Talk Talk Show with Hassan Choudary,” Bushra Ansari disclosed that she exercised her right to divorce, which was granted to her by her father at the time of her Nikah (marriage). She clarified that this right doesn’t imply that women can unilaterally divorce their husbands, but rather, it permits divorce without conditions if it was granted at the time of marriage and with the husband’s family’s consent.

Bushra Ansari elaborated, “Once you have been granted the right to divorce, you can obtain a divorce without any stipulations regarding children and finances. I had this right but didn’t utilize it; it took me 36 years to exercise this right. Obviously, it’s not a joyful matter; it’s a very sorrowful situation for women.” She also emphasized that Islam has empowered women significantly, allowing them to lead a dignified life at home.

Additionally, Bushra Ansari shared three valuable pieces of advice for women. She said, “Women should first prevent others from insulting them. Even students should not tolerate disrespect. Stand up against disrespect. Another aspect women should focus on is productivity. They should not limit themselves to household chores; instead, they should work diligently and efficiently in life. Women should be disciplined, active, and efficient in their endeavors.”

Bushra Ansari, a veteran actress from Pakistan, addressed the court’s decision to sustain Zahir Jaffer’s death sentence in the Noor Mukadam murder case on Friday. On Monday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) affirmed Jaffer’s death sentence and converted his life in prison into the death penalty.

In response to appeals against the sentences imposed on the convicted defendants and the exoneration of co-accused in the gruesome murder of the 27-year-old lady, the court issued the judgement that had been reserved on December 21 of last year. Following Jaffer’s crime for the rape and murder of Noor, the decision to condemn him to death twice was taken. When the rape was proven, he received a 25-year sentence with hard labour and a fine of Rs0.2 million.

Bushra posted on Instagram: “I hope this happens but it would have been better if he had met the same fate as Noor Makhdam. He should be given an exemplary death.”

She said, “Abid Malhi and Shahnnawaz Ameer should die a horrible death. Numerous others spoke up in support of Bushra’s viewpoint.

“Yes, a lot needs to change. But it is a first step at least,” wrote a person. “His parents should also be held accountable as they were also involved (knew and did nothing in fact hid it),” wrote another.

On July 20, 2021, Noor, who was 27 years old, was discovered dead at the home of the main suspect, Jaffer, in affluent Sector F-7/4 of Islamabad.

The popular drama series Tere Bin is surpassing all previous records for viewership. Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Sohail Sameer, Mehmood Aslam, Fazila Qazi, Farhan Ali Agha, and Bushra Ansari are among the outstanding actors in the drama. It is produced by 7th Sky Entertainment under the direction of Siraj Ul Haque and the writing of Nooran Makhdoom.

The latest drama episode’s romantic dinner date in the garden has made it the talk of the town. Well, Yumna Zaidi looked extremely presentable in her attire. Both Yumna and Wahaj looked lovely in the setting. Although there were other love scenes earlier in the drama, this was its most passionate section.

Fans adored the romantic sequences, yet a section of the audience is dissatisfied with the glamourization of romance on television. They claim that Indian dramas and other on-screen romances are being normalised by the television business.

Even a small number of people believe that displaying such intimacy is part of a plan and that if they normalise more provocative scenes on TV, viewers would do so without question. Some users questioned why a drama with only a few over-the-top romance sequences was trending. “I don’t know why people are going crazy over this drama, typical Indian copy, cheap and filthy romanticization,” one Twitter user remarked.

Bushra Ansari recently played Maa Begum, a character with a powerful aura, in the wildly popular Tere Bin. Her altercation with our leading lady Meerab is giving Tere Bin the necessary spice for the drama, and she is portraying the role flawlessly as usual.

However, Bushra herself does not feel comfortable slapping on camera. After she smacked Yumna Zaidi in Tere Bin, her interaction with her did become a topic of conversation. The two sisters gave the song’s audience a performance at the Ahmed Bashir Ka Kumba session of the three-day event. Asma sang the song while wearing traditional attire, while Bushra dressed elegantly in a white and blue printed sari for the occasion.

Both Ansari and Abbas were able to execute their performance exactly as they did in the song’s original music video. The facial expressions of both women were spot on.

She said, “I was advised to keep Haya vampire.” She claimed she appreciated working with Yumna, Bushra Ansari, Sohail Sameer, and other members of the cast, and that she had a great time on set.
