Renowned for her captivating personality and exceptional acting prowess, Mahnoor Baloch is a beloved Pakistani television and film actress. She has graced the screens with her talent in popular dramas like Marvi, Yeh Zindagi, Lamhey, Kabhi Kabhi Pyar Main, Chandni Raatain, Noor Bano, Noor Pur Ki Raani, and Ik Nazar Meri Taraf.
Additionally, she has showcased her acting skills in the feature film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi. Currently, Mahnoor Baloch has taken a break from television as she feels that the Pakistani drama industry lacks unique and message-driven content.
During her appearance on Momin Saqib’s show, Mahnoor Baloch addressed and responded to Bushra Ansari’s comments regarding her acting skills.
When asked by Momin Saqib during an interview, “I have come across Bushra Ansari’s statement that Mahnoor is very pretty, but she doesn’t know how to act (completed by Mahnoor)”, Mahnoor replied, “It’s okay, I know she said this as I saw the clip. maybe, I can’t act, it is her opinion. Maybe, according to her, if someone is not versatile, he/she can’t act, I think I am not versatile and thats why she said it about me. Also, there were multiple occasions in my career when I loved certain scripts but directors didn’t let me do, they used to say, ‘No! This role is not meant for you as you don’t look poor’, now, you tell me what can I do. Perhaps, Bushra Ansari meant the same but she could not articulate it well .”
In addition, Bushra Ansari commented that while Mahnoor Baloch is beautiful, she does not possess remarkable acting skills and cannot be considered among the top performers. Furthermore, Bushra Ansari mentioned that Mahnoor Baloch has now exited the industry.
