A total of 404,909 illegal foreigners, including Afghans, have been repatriated to their homeland in a dignified and secure manner.

The ongoing process of repatriation for illegal foreign nationals, particularly Afghans, continues, with thousands returning daily through the Chaman and Torkham borders and expressing gratitude for Pakistan’s generosity.

To facilitate the dignified return of Afghans, transit camps equipped with necessary facilities have been established in various districts for their temporary accommodation. Notably, 3,776 more illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated to their country recently.

Caretaker Provincial Information Minister Jan Achakzai reiterated the government’s commitment to repatriating illegal immigrants, setting a target of deporting 10,000 individuals daily.

Approximately 135,000 illegal immigrants have already returned to Afghanistan, marking progress in achieving this goal.

Highlighting security concerns, Achakzai mentioned that Afghans were implicated in sixteen attacks involving bombings and sabotage incidents over the past year.

The government has affirmed its decision to send ten thousand illegal immigrants to Afghanistan daily, emphasizing that those with Afghan Tazkira or any other documents must adhere to government policies regarding a unified documentation system.
