Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pure Accounts Receivable or a General Accounting role with a focus on AR.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the FMCG industry.
- Hands-on approach and previous supervisory experience is necessary.
- Problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to analyze current procedures and suggest improvements.
- Essential experience with SAP or Oracle.
Job Description / Role
Full-Time Employment
We are hiring for an FMCG business in Dubai, and the role reports to the AR Manager.
- Reviewing new customer details, assigning credit limits, and negotiating payment terms.
- Managing cash flow projections.
- Ensuring VAT compliance.
- Implementing improvements in the AR process.
- Monitoring customer account reconciliations.
- Supervising a team of 3 Credit Controllers.
- Assisting the credit control and sales teams in resolving disputes.
- Following up on payments from overdue or problematic customers.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships through visits when necessary.
- Conducting monthly meetings with the sales manager to review overdue customers.
- Quarterly submission of sales reports to insurance.
- Generating monthly Receivable MIS (Overdue/DSO).
- Calculating monthly Bad Debt provision.
Salary
AED 15,000 to 16,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
