ISLAMABAD: Sisters and wife of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday filed a petition in the accountability court seeking permission to meet the incarcerated former prime minister in Adiala jail, Bol News reported.
The plea was filed in the accountability court by lawyer Shiraz Ranjha on behalf of Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and sisters.
The accountability court judge would hear the petition seeking permission for meeting between the family members in the jail. Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir will conduct the hearing.
Counsel Shiraz Ranjha said the ex-PM was arrested in 190 million pound case. He said his wife and his three sisters wanted to meet him in jail.
The lawyer said the hearing regarding the physical remand of chairman PTI was on Friday in jail. Family members should be allowed to meet chairman PTI, he added.
