KARACHI: The US dollar rate went down by Re0.75 to Rs288.75 in open market on Thursday (Nov 16). Yesterday, the dollar closed at Rs289.50.
Whereas the US Dollar became cheaper by Re0.76 to Rs 287.38 from Rs 288.14 in Interbank, says the State Bank.
Internationally, the US dollar held its ground early on Thursday after a volatile two days that saw sharp declines followed by a rebound as traders took incoming economic data as signaling the Federal Reserve will wait longer before cutting interest rates.
