ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
As per notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, here on Wednesday night, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs2 04 to Rs 281.34 paise per litre and that of diesel by Rs.4.47 to Rs 296.71 per litre.
Whereas Kerosene rate has been cut by Rs6.05 to Rs204.98 per litre and light diesel by Rs9.01 toRs180.45 per liter.

The new prices will come into effect from November 16, at midnight and remain in place till November 30.
The interim government is charging zero general sales tax (GST) on all petroleum products while the rate of petroleum levy (PL) on petrol and diesel is Rs60 per litre.
