Bilawal asserts unprecedented concessions being granted to ‘some politicians’

MITHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has asserted that those seeking power in the manner of the PTI won’t succeed.

Taking an apparent dig at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), whose leaders have been granted what many political analysts consider unprecedented “concessions,” Bilawal declared that individuals seeking power through the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) approach are destined for failure.

Bilawal celebrated Diwali with party workers and the people of Tharparkar in Mithi, participating in festivities at local temples and addressing a public gathering at Marvi Stadium in Mithi.

During his speech, he emphasized that some entities promote divisive politics but are averse to the return of the politics of the 90s.

Despite the upcoming elections being just months away, Bilawal noted that the election schedule has not been announced. He clarified that he seeks support from the people, not from any particular political faction, predicting that many political parties will be surprised by the February election results.

Accusing certain forces of plotting behind closed doors and pre-manipulating election outcomes, Bilawal insisted that the public will not tolerate any “conspiracy” this time.

He highlighted that the electorate had endured years of a “selected raj” and would not endure it again.

Bilawal stated that voters would have three choices in the elections, asserting that they would opt for the PPP, rejecting both the ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Intishar’ [PTI] and the ‘Pakistan Mehngai League’ [PML-N]. Pledging a fivefold increase in salaries if elected, Bilawal emphasized the importance of poverty alleviation for national progress and outlined several initiatives that his party would implement to address this issue.
