KARACHI: The exchange rate of the US dollar in Pakistan increased by Re1, reaching Rs 289, compared to its previous rate of Rs 288 in open market on Monday, (Nov 13).
On the other hand, the rupee further decreased by Re0.52 to Rs287.55 against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Monday.
As per the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the rupee settled at 287.55, a decrease of Re0.52.

During the last week, the rupee extended its downtrend against the US dollar as it depreciated 0.95% or Rs2.72 to settle at 287.03 in the inter-bank market.
