Sofia Richie and music executive Elliot Grainge married on April 22, 2023, in a lavish ceremony at Antibes’ Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. The couple, who had been friends since childhood, kept their relationship covert until April 2021, when they made it Instagram official. Elliot Grainge, the son of Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, founded the musical company 10K Projects and was named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list in 2020.
Richie, the daughter of famed musician Lionel Richie, confirmed their engagement officially in April 2022, with her father’s blessing. The pair celebrated their engagement with a star-studded bash. Sofia Richie, now Sofia Richie-Grainge, converted to Judaism before the wedding and expressed her gratitude for the experience.
“I am so excited,” said the bride, who donned a couture Chanel gown to the wedding. [It’s] because I’m marrying Elliot, which sounds corny, but he is the guy of my dreams.” Reflecting on their relationship, Richie emphasized the deep love and sense of safety she had with Grainge.
