Peugeot’s Updated E-Rifter:
Peugeot has introduced a refreshed E-Rifter, offering a more stylish and efficient compact van with new interior technology.
Design and Features:
The new E-Rifter aligns with Peugeot’s updated design language, featuring a more aggressive front end with the new emblem and signature three-claw lighting. It is available in two new color options: Sirkka Green and Kiama Blue. The E-Rifter boasts high ground clearance, wide wheel arches, side guards, and roof bars.
Enhanced Interior and Technology:
Inside, the E-Rifter features a new dashboard with a 10-inch touchscreen display, light gray fabric-covered seats, and a Zenith roof with ample storage compartments. The Emotion trim level includes a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation display, a heated leather steering wheel, and advanced safety features such as tiredness warning, traffic sign reading, and lane-keeping assist.
Efficient Electric Powertrain:
The E-Rifter is powered by a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor with 270 Nm of torque. With the inclusion of a heat pump, the 50 kWh battery can achieve a range of up to 320 km. Charging options include a 7.4 kW charger or an optional 11 kW three-phase charger, with 100 kW DC support for rapid charging.
Charging Options and Timeframes:
Charging the E-Rifter from 0 to 80% takes just 30 minutes with 100 kW DC support. Charging to 100% using an 11 kW wallbox takes about 5 hours, while a 7.5 kW charger extends the time to 7.5 hours. Charging via a reinforced domestic socket requires 15 hours.
