At least five people were killed and several left injured on Tuesday, after a speeding passenger bus crashed into donkey carts in Kot Addu.
The victims on the donkey carts were on their way from Kot Addu, heading out to find daily labor opportunities when the tragedy struck.
The accident involved a high-speed passenger bus operated by Baloch Company, en route from Rawalpindi to Rajanpur.
Prompt response from rescue personnel played a crucial role in this unfortunate event.
They swiftly provided essential first aid to the injured individuals while also ensuring that the deceased were treated with dignity and covered with white sheets.
However, the accident took an even more tragic turn as one of the injured laborers, named Yasir, succumbed to his injuries and tragically passed away in the hospital.
The incident has left a lasting impact on the affected families and the community in Kot Addu.
