ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its full participation in the national and provincial assembly elections.

In the announcement made after the meeting of the core committee of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.It has been said that PTI will nominate its candidate in every constituency across the country. Chairman PTI will be released from jail and lead the nation in elections. “If he remained in prison then he will lead the nation from jail”.

The core committee said that neither the nation nor the world will accept interference and rigging in the elections, with the support of the people, PTI will defeat the tyranny including its operatives.

Earlier, President of Pakistan and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have agreed on the date of Feb 8 2024 for the general elections in the country, Bol TV reported.

Sources said that President Dr Arif Alvi has proposed February 8 2024 for holding elections in the country. The ECP also accepted the date suggested by the President.

Later on, the electoral watchdog issued a statement and announced the date of February 8 for elections. It added that the President of the country has proposed the said date to hold elections.
