The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Monday deferred the hearing on PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s bail applications in three terror cases without any proceedings.
The hearing on bail plea regarding cases of May 9 protest and vandalism has been postponed till November 14.
The bail pleas were heard by the ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain, but the case proceedings could not move forward due to the absence of the prosecutor.
Representatives from PTI, including lawyers Khalid Yusuf, Sardar Busy, and Mirza Asim Baig, appeared before the court.
However, the prosecutor was absent as he was on leave.
Due to the prosecutor’s absence, the court decided to adjourn the hearing until November 14.
It’s worth noting that the High Court had reinstated three bail applications of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, directing the Anti-Terrorism Court to re-hear the bail pleas.
