NADRA B-Form fee 2023

NADRA B-Form fee update for November 2023

The Pakistani government has recently made the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-form, a mandatory document for accessing essential services.

This initiative aims to streamline the process of providing crucial services to individuals under the age of 18. While the introduction of the B-form is a positive step, the application process has evolved compared to previous years.

B-form and its purpose

In recent times, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating the issuance of child registration certificates.

This document can be obtained by presenting proof of childbirth to the union council. Additionally, the parents of the child are required to hold a National Identity Card (NIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

Application Process for B-Form in 2023

To apply for a B-form in 2023, individuals should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the nearest NRC (NADRA Registration Center): Initiate the application process by visiting the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
  2. Obtain a Token: Upon arrival, obtain a token to secure your place in the queue.
  3. Photographs and Fingerprints: Complete the necessary steps, including taking photographs and providing fingerprints.
  4. Data Entry and Printing: A NADRA operator will enter the required data and generate a printed form.
  5. Form Attestation: Once the form is printed and handed to you, have it attested by a gazetted officer.
  6. Parent Biometrics (Optional): If either parent is available during the application process at the NRC, their biometrics can be captured, eliminating the need for form attestation.

Fees and processing time

The normal fee for applying for a new CRC is Rs 50, while the executive category incurs a higher cost of Rs 500. The processing time for a B-form is typically around 5 working days.

By making the B-form a prerequisite for accessing vital services, the Pakistani government aims to ensure that children and adolescents have easy access to education, healthcare, and other essential amenities.

The modified application process, facilitated by NADRA, simplifies the procedure, making it more convenient for parents and guardians to obtain this important document for their children.
