CPEC projects are moving forward successfully: Asim Saleem Bajwa

Chairman CPEC Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said that CPEC projects are progressing successfully.

According to details, Chairman CPEC Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa while making a big announcement said that Mansehra Thakot Expressway has been opened for normal traffic.

In his message on social networking website, he said that this two-lane highway is 80 km long and Havelian is an extension of Mansehra Motorway while Mansehra Thakot Expressway has cost Rs. 136 billion.

He further said that now highway police and toll staff have been deployed on the expressway.

Asim Bajwa wrote on Twitter, “Here you go:80 KMs Two way Mansehra-Thakot Expressway opened for traffic. It is extension of 40 KM Havelian-Mansehra 4 lane Motorway.Cost- Rs 136 billion.Highway police &toll staff deployed #cpec #CPECMakingProgress #pakistanmakingprogress”

It may be recalled that two days ago, in a message on the social networking website, Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa had said that the work of Thakot Motorway from Mansehra has been completed while the project was jointly completed by the National Highways Authority and the Ministry of Communications.

Chairman CPEC Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa had said that the motorway would be opened for traffic soon.
