OGRA spokesperson said that the fare of tankers with a capacity of more than 40,000 liters has been increased. The fare from depot to petrol pump has been deregulated.

The OGRA spokesperson further said that oil marketing companies can fix the fares on short routes automatically. If necessary, the fares can be revised after two years.

The fare hike will take effect on August 1, 2020.
