A certificate proving that a person has completed the annual Hajj pilgrimage may be obtained online, according to Saudi Arabia.

The pilgrims can download the Nusuk app and select the certificate design they prefer to acquire the certificate, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the monarchy.

The ministry provided instructions for using the app to obtain the certificate.

The Hajj of this year, which was performed in Saudi Arabia late last month, saw a resumption of pre-pandemic levels of pilgrimage.

After COVID-19 pushed the restriction of pilgrim numbers for three years in a row, Saudi Arabia eased the restrictions on the numbers and ages of pilgrims from around the world for this year’s Hajj.

According to Saudi official statistics, around 1.8 million pilgrims, including 1.6 million foreigners, performed the Hajj in and around the Saudi holy city of Mecca this year.

After completing Hajj ceremonies, a large number of foreign pilgrims frequently travel to Medina, the second holiest mosque in Islam, to pray at the Prophet’s Mosque and to see other important Islamic sites.

The gathering is referred to as the second Hajj season.

According to official statistics, more than 222,000 pilgrims from various nations have arrived in Medina after the Hajj rituals ended up on Saturday.

The Prophet’s Mosque, which contains Al Rawda Al Sharifa and is where the Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) grave is located, is one of Medina’s most famous landmarks.
