MAKKAH: The Arafat Sermon app will offer a live translation of the sermon for pilgrims and others around the world in more than 20 languages.
The President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, said that all preparations have been made for the live broadcast of Arafat sermon
The day of Arafat marks the culmination of Hajj and it is where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) delivered his final sermon. The sermon is delivered at Masjid-e-Nimra at the holy site of Mount Arafat every year.

The sermon will be translated into French, English, Persian, Urdu, Russian, Hausa, Turkish, Punjabi, Chinese, Malayo, Swahili, Spanish, Portuguese, Amharic, German, Swedish, Italian, Malayalam, Bosnian, and Filipino.
He also noted that the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Translation Project to translate the sermons delivered at the Two Holy Mosques and Arafat sermon aims at reaching out to more than 300 million beneficiaries around the world via Manarat Al-Haramain Digital Platform.

The General Presidency was given honour of translating and presenting the Arafah sermon to Hajj pilgrims as well as Muslims tuning in from around the world.
The objectives of the project include highlighting the noble image of Islam in its moderation, balance, values and virtues, and ensure it reaches the entire world through the use of modern technological means.
It aims to continue the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving pilgrims and making their spiritual journey as beneficial as possible. It provide audio broadcasting for non-Arabic speaking pilgrims and those present in Arafah and all countries around the world.
